We are a charity, we were created to help our community at times of need. When we speak to you, we will take a holistic approach and tailor our advice to your particular needs and we will do our best to provide you with advice to help you. To give us the best opportunity of helping you, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible – don’t wait until the day before an important deadline.
When you first contact us, we will ask for your details and an assessor will discuss the issues and any immediate priorities. We may also ask you to send us copies of any relevant paperwork.
We will do our best to speak to you as soon as possible but demand for our services is high and you may have to wait a few days before we get back to you.

Casework services
For more complex situations, like housing, welfare benefits, debt and disability. We will take a casework approach, which means we will learn as much as we can about your situation, to enable us to build a suitable plan of action, and try to help you solve your problem using the services available to us.
Benefits support for people living with cancer
We work with Macmillan Cancer Support and Citizens Advice Wandsworth to provide the Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advice Service for South West London.
This is a specialist service giving free, confidential and impartial benefits and money advice to local people living with cancer. Our service offers one-to-one sessions with specialist advisers to help identify the problems you are experiencing and explore the options available to you.
We can go through your paperwork with you and discuss the best course of action. We can help you identify the benefits you are entitled to, as well as filling in the forms. We can help you access debt management support and make you aware of other help that may be available.
We may also be able to help you access a grant from Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan Grants are one-off payments designed to help people on low incomes meet unexpected costs.
Telephone: 020 7042 0332 (please do not use this number unless you are a cancer patient, their carer or a family member).
Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm (excluding public holidays).
